Aptiv is a global technology company enabling the future of mobility.

We seek an EC design engineer to develop electrical centers and assemblies per customer requirements and Aptiv standards, leading design reviews and coordinating with cross‑functional teams to deliver on time.

The role leverages Mold Flow, FEA and tolerance analysis, with strong emphasis on GD&T, NX modelling and effective communication in English.

Qualifications

Experience designing electrical‑mechanical automotive assemblies.
Knowledge of electrical centers, harnesses and connectors.
Ability to interpret design analyses (FMEA, FEA, Moldflow).
Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop Electrical Center (EC) products and assemblies using customer requirements and Aptiv standards.
Lead the EC product development process and design reviews.
Create robust designs using Mold Flow, FEA, thermal analysis and tolerance stacks.
Apply GD&T to components and assemblies.
Prepare Validation Plans, DFMEAs, test reports, and DFM reviews.
Coordinate with PM, Manufacturing and Systems Engineering to meet schedules.
Generate cost estimates, change orders, RFQs and EC documentation.
Deliver technical presentations to customers and support design reviews.
