We seek an EC design engineer to develop electrical centers and assemblies per customer requirements and Aptiv standards, leading design reviews and coordinating with cross‑functional teams to deliver on time.
The role leverages Mold Flow, FEA and tolerance analysis, with strong emphasis on GD&T, NX modelling and effective communication in English.

Skill and experience in the design of electrical‑mechanical assemblies for automotive applications. Examples include electrical centers (aka fuse boxes, PDCs, PDBs), connector assemblies, electrical terminals, plastic housings and similar.
Knowledge of automotive electrical system products including electrical centers, harness assemblies, connection systems, terminal systems, etc.
Working knowledge of materials, design principles and manufacturing methods for plated stamped metal components, molded plastic components, printed circuit boards, etc.
Ability to interpret the results of design analysis tools such as DFMEA, mechanical and thermal FEA, Moldflow, tolerance stacks, etc.
Excellent time management and work prioritization skills.
Assertive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient English speaking, reading and writing.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Capable Microsoft Office user proficient in Excel.
Working knowledge of Siemens NX.
Preferred Product Design & Engineering experience with Electrical Center products.
Proficient in Siemens NX modelling & drafting.
Experience working in automotive on electrical/electronic/electromechanical products.
