Job summary
Aptiv is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the North America Product Engineering Team, located in Troy, MI or Champion, OH. You will design, develop and validate electronic products for the Consumer Connectivity portfolio, handling circuits from power supplies to RF links and microcontroller interfaces.
You will collaborate across functions, perform simulations and bench testing, and ensure compliance with automotive and OEM requirements.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and embedded MCU experience.
- Experience with analog/digital design, simulations and EMS/EMC considerations.
- Knowledge of CAN/LIN, high-speed interfaces, and RF-related links is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design schematics and oversee PCB layouts for consumer connectivity products.
- Validate designs to meet OEM requirements and EMC/EMI standards.
- Develop new circuit blocks and evaluate components for performance and cost.
- Collaborate with supply chain for BoM cost tradeoffs and validation plans.
- Mentor other engineers and support design process audits.
