Job summary

cyDaptiv Solutions seeks a Senior Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering expertise, technical leadership, and oversight for complex projects. You will represent the company in engineering matters and guide activities within the project’s functional area.

This role is contingent upon contract award and Government approval, with work location and schedule determined by contract requirements. A PE license and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of ten years in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
• Management or supervisory experience in the relevant field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, standards, and practices.
• Ability to review complex designs and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level electrical and/or mechanical engineering expertise.
• Develop, evaluate, and recommend designs and technical approaches.
• Provide technical leadership and project-area oversight.
• Review plans, drawings, calculations for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify risks and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate activities with leadership, customers, vendors, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and contractual requirements.
• Mentor engineering personnel and participate in technical reviews.
