Job summary

cyDaptiv Solutions seeks a Senior Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering leadership, technical oversight, and expert guidance across contracts and projects. You will review plans, assess risks, and coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliant technical solutions.

The role requires a PE license and 10+ years in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, with strong communication and leadership skills to mentor staff and interact with Government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the electrical and/or mechanical engineering field.
• Relevant management or supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to review and evaluate complex technical designs and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level electrical and/or mechanical engineering expertise in support of contract requirements.
• Develop, evaluate, and recommend engineering products, designs, solutions, and technical approaches.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for engineering activities within the project’s functional area.
• Review engineering plans, specifications, drawings, calculations, and other technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify technical risks and recommend corrective actions or engineering solutions.
• Coordinate engineering activities with project leadership, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and other technical personnel.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable codes, standards, contractual requirements, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and technical personnel.
• Participate in technical reviews, project meetings, design discussions, and customer presentations.
• Support project planning, scheduling, implementation, testing, and acceptance activities as required.
• Represent cyDaptiv Solutions professionally when interacting with Government customers and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain appropriate engineering documentation and technical records throughout the project lifecycle.
