Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in utilities and facilities. You will work on equipment from lighting to power distribution and motors, with a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Monday–Friday shift.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and documenting work statuses. Experience with voltages up to 13,200 V and 480 V is preferred, and training and safety policies must be followed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 5+ yrs experience or Relevant Certificate with 3+ yrs experience or Associates Technical degree with 1+ yrs experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on commercial and industrial equipment.
• Work with Variable Frequency Drives, motors and controls, power distribution, lighting management systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance including infrared scanning and bonding/ grounding.
• Communicates status via email, voicemail, and Maximo.
