Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in utilities and facilities. Shift: 6am-2:30pm, Monday–Friday. Work includes motors, power distribution, lighting systems, and coordination with Maximo for maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to GxP and safety policies. Strong tools skills and relevant electrical experience are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 5+ yrs experience or relevant certificate with 3+ yrs experience or associates technical degree with 1+ yrs experience.
• Experience with voltages up to 13,200V and at least 480V.
• Proficiency with basic power tools and hand/measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial and industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance including infrared scanning and bonding/grounding.
• Communicate status of ongoing work via email/voicemail/Maximo.
• Handle voltages up to 13,200V; prior experience with 480V required.
• Develop techniques and document job plans and service protocols.
• Ensure GxP and safe work policies are followed.
• Other duties as assigned by Group Leader or SR Supervisor.
