Job summary
AdventHealth Careers in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform electrical maintenance, installations, and repairs in a healthcare setting. You will coordinate with teams, monitor compliance with codes, and train staff on essential maintenance tasks.
The role requires at least 5 years of maintenance experience, 2+ years in healthcare maintenance preferred, and strong documentation and safety skills.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience
- 2+ years of healthcare maintenance preferred
- Must be able to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Ability to perform electrical maintenance, installations and modifications per applicable codes
- Able to document records neatly and accurately
- Basic Microsoft Office skills required
Responsibilities
- Maintains and repairs electrical equipment and systems in a healthcare facility
- Coordinates and performs maintenance tasks per codes and regulations
- Provides on-the-job skills training to team members
- Monitors and reports on maintenance logs and documentation
- Responds to in-house work orders and emergency calls
- Supervises outside contractors to ensure compliance with requirements
- Maintains records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Supports development of new processes, products, or services
