Job summary

Five years of healthcare maintenance experience, a valid Florida driver’s license and a high school diploma are required. The role emphasizes documentation, safety compliance and teamwork to keep hospital services running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a maintenance mechanic in healthcare or similar environments.
• 2 years of healthcare maintenance experience if a trade or vocational school graduate.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, calibrate, adjust, lubricate and repair components as necessary.
• Complete preventative maintenance work orders on utilities equipment promptly and accurately.
• Submit documentation to supervisor in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain records of repairs and verify conformance to blueprints and standards.
• Coordinate safety and life-safety measures and assist in major repairs as needed.
• Promote teamwork and maintain regular attendance per policy.
