Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Planner to develop work plans and procure resources for routine maintenance, outages, and special projects at our generating stations. You will apply best practices in work management and use CMMS/EAP, purchasing and financial tools to meet requirements.

The role requires strong interpersonal, technical, financial, and estimating skills, with experience in maintenance planning and a willingness to work in a union environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of generating station electrical maintenance experience is preferred.
• Other planning experience will be considered.
• Experience with CMMS/EAP, SAP and scheduling software is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop work plans and procure resources for routine maintenance, outage work and specific projects.
• Apply work management best practices and use necessary software to meet work management requirements.
• Perform job hazard analyses and obtain appropriate permits for maintenance tasks.
• Review maintenance histories to drive process improvement and cost efficiency.
• Prepare routine maintenance reports and resource-loaded maintenance schedules.
• Lead work request review meetings and coordinate across plant departments.
