Job summary

AES Puerto Rico, located at the Guayama power plant, seeks an experienced Planning and Maintenance professional to coordinate outages and maintenance programs. You will work with the maintenance team to ensure system integrity and reliability, aligning OT plans with budgets and departmental goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, PE or equivalent certification, OSHA and CMMS credentials, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• PE License or equivalent certification preferred.
• OSHA and CMMS certifications desired.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all planned maintenance outages with internal and external entities.
• Collaborate across groups to resolve outage planning issues.
• Maintain a comprehensive 5-year outage plan/schedule.
• Develop outage management data tools and KPIs.
• Create and manage maintenance plans for routine and major activities.
• Prepare purchase requirements for Opex budget and assign to work orders.
• Create work orders for CapEx and service parts.
• Lead annual review and improvement of outage management roles.
