Job summary

Ideal candidates will have 10–15 years of mechanical/aerospace experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in mechanical engineering design for aerospace/defense systems is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design complex rocket components and systems, including actuators, igniters, and pressure vessels.
• Lead manufacturing planning, machining, and assembly tasks with quality control.
• Perform mass estimation, structural, dynamic, and thermal analyses to guide design decisions.
• Create and review detailed 2D/3D models and technical drawings (GD&T).
• Develop test plans, assess reliability, and support ITAR-compliant programs.
• Support project management activities and procurement tasks as needed.
