Protective Industrial Products in Charleston, SC is seeking a Senior Electrical Instrumentation and Control Technician to join our manufacturing maintenance team. You will inspect, repair and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, ensuring continuous operation of production lines.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, read schematics and wiring diagrams, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with wiring projects and conduit installations.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with electrical/electronic/mechanical repair in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics and follow wiring diagrams.

Responsabilidades

• Performs installation, fabrication and repair of electronic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment for all manufacturing operations.
• Maintains knowledge of wiring codes and consults supervisor for other codes.
• Calibrates process measuring devices and performs preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoots PLC ladder logic and basic programming as directed.
• Reads blueprints/schematics and lays out conduit per code.
