Schutz Container Systems’ Lexington, NC facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment. The role includes installing, inspecting, and repairing equipment, and performing preventative maintenance to keep production running at quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Must comprehend procedures written in English.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs and control systems.
• Familiar with plant safety and quality protocols (PPE, SDS, LOTO).

Responsabilités

• Remove and install electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components for safe operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to identify failures.
• Install and set up new machines/equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness, function, and safety of maintenance areas and tools.
• Document repairs using work orders and plans.
• Maintain documentation including schematics and drawings.
• Overlap with safety and regulatory standards for electrical systems.
