Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Aiken, SC to keep the plant and equipment operating through preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance. You will troubleshoot PLC-driven systems, read schematics, and implement root-cause solutions to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade school certification required.
• Ability to use inspections of equipment to ensure quality.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Able to read work orders and prepare simple production reports.
• Good vision (corrected) and manual dexterity to operate equipment.
• Must pass OSHA respiratory test.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot electronic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems including PLCs.
• Read, interpret, and program PLC controllers and languages.
• Determine root cause of equipment failures and implement preventative actions.
• Perform electrical/mechanical fabrication and alterations.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions using manuals, PLCs, diagrams, and schematics.
• Inspect and test machinery to diagnose issues and ensure reliability.
• Utilize hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments for maintenance.
• Open and close plant operations including lighting, compressors, ovens, and gas supply.
