Job summary

aeSolutions is seeking an Experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join our Southeast team. You will lead electrical/control projects from concept to implementation, interfacing with clients and cross-functional teams on diverse facilities.

The role emphasizes field instrumentation, low-voltage distribution, and compliance with NFPA and industry standards, with opportunities for client interaction, design reviews, and site support across the southeastern United States. PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant electrical engineering and industrial controls experience.
• Experience with low-voltage power distribution design.
• Experience with field instrument selection, wiring design.
• Ability to review, interpret, and apply NFPA and industry codes and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support electrical and control system projects from concept through implementation.
• Develop electrical and control system designs for industrial facilities.
• Design and review control enclosures, power distribution systems, network architecture, and field installations.
• Select field instrumentation and develop related wiring and installation requirements.
• Read, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI applications during project execution and testing.
• Develop and execute verification and test plans for internal and field testing activities.
• Produce and review engineering deliverables including calculations, drawings, specs, and project documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with industry codes, standards, and client requirements.
