Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in Madison, WI, seeks a district sales leader to drive sales and gross margin targets for Electrical and Industrial markets. You will lead a sales team, manage an annual budget up to $4M, and execute district market plans across the territory.

You will develop business plans, coach reps, build relationships with key customers and suppliers, and ensure staff development while coordinating with districts to deliver strong results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in business or wholesale distribution.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Four-year degree.
• Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry.
• Knowledge of Electrical and Industrial markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plans supporting Electrical and Industrial markets within the assigned territory.
• Implement sales management process with plans and post-call coaching debriefs.
• Evaluate industry and business trends for impact on the district.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Ensure recruiting, staffing, development, and performance management in Electrical and Industrial.
• Assist in tools and training programs to support growth.
