Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical and I&C Designer to support a multi-disciplinary design team in power generation. The role includes leading CAD efforts, coordinating electrical and I&C deliverables, and collaborating across engineering teams across the United States.

The ideal candidate brings strong CAD leadership, experience with data integration, and a proven track record in multi-discipline programs, with travel as needed. Hybrid remote work and national office locations offered.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 6 years of relevant power or industrial experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Experience leading CAD design teams on large projects.
• Proficiency with data integration and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of safety standards and vendor documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform as the Electrical and I&C discipline CAD lead for projects of all sizes.
• Oversee the design and preparation of electrical and I&C deliverables, ensuring efficient facility design.
• Coordinate the production of drawings and resolve interface issues with team members.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop facility designs from feasibility to construction support.
• Lead discipline CAD designer on projects, managing budgets and schedules.
