Job summary

Aeronix Inc in Melbourne, FL or Greenville, SC seeks an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to own hardware development from requirements and schematic design through PCB layout, bring-up, qualification, and production release.

Responsibilities include schematic design, board bring-up, power distribution, signal integrity, EMI/EMC-conscious design, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration. DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in electronic design; 7–10 years preferred.
• US Person with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support hardware development from requirements to system integration.
• Create hardware requirements, block diagrams, and interface definitions.
• Schematic capture, PCB layout guidance, and DFM/DFT considerations.
• Prototype support, BOM creation, and issue resolution.
• Board bring-up, debugging, and validation testing with lab instruments.
• Collaborate with firmware, systems, manufacturing, and test teams.
• Contribute to design process improvements and documentation.
