Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead field crews on large-scale construction projects in Blacksburg, VA. You will supervise 5+ electricians, coordinate daily field activities, and ensure installations meet drawings, specs, and codes. This is a growth-focused role with a major contractor.

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
• Experience leading electrical crews of 5+ employees.
• Strong background in large-scale electrical construction.
• Experience with multifamily, commercial, data center, and/or hospitals/healthcare projects.
• Healthcare and/or data center project experience is a plus.
• OSHA 30 preferred; opportunity to obtain after joining.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical crews of 5+ field employees.
• Coordinate daily field activities, manpower, materials, and production.
• Ensure electrical installations meet project drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Maintain project schedules and productivity expectations.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Monitor workmanship and quality throughout installation.
• Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety.
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving.
• Mentor and develop electricians and field personnel.
