The role covers supervising crew activities, coordinating with project management, general contractors, and owner representatives, and ensuring safety and NEC compliance on complex electrical installations.

The position emphasizes leadership, scheduling, and meeting budgets while mentoring junior staff and maintaining high-quality workmanship on diverse projects in California.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• General Electrical certification through the state is required.
• 5–10 years of related experience in electrical construction or management.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and coordinates work with Project management, GC, owner reps, crew, and other trades.
• Forecasts manpower, material, tool and equipment needs in advance to ensure resources are available.
• Interprets electrical blueprints, internal shop drawings and details; applies NEC and related codes.
• Meets project schedules, productivity standards, and budgets; provides leadership to crew.
• Provides mentorship to lower-level employees and documents performance.
