Job summary

Canadian Breaks Consulting, LLC is seeking an Electrical Field Superintendent to manage subcontract field execution on large mission critical projects. The role is embedded in the client's PMO and requires coordinating scheduling, QA/QC, and safety programs on site.

The position demands 6+ years of direct field supervision and 4+ years plus 3 years supervisory experience for qualifications; work involves hi-tech buildings and complex installations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of low voltage electrical construction.
• Experience on large industrial or high-tech fabrication projects.
• Familiar with low voltage distribution, UPS equipment, electrical installations on large mechanical and process equipment, and cleanroom installations.
• Experience organizing technical data; familiar with CSI specification system for construction.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with superintendents and subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
• Maintain and adjust project schedule daily.
• Manage RFIs and submittals for review with Client/Architect.
• Enforce safety protocols on site.
• Provide solutions to design and constructability issues.
• Interpret and implement installations compliant with local codes and site specs.
• Provide field condition information for cost estimates.
• Facilitate contractor activity to ensure performance under contracts.
• Assist with staffing and work with clients, architects, engineers.
