Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions Inc. seeks a Staff Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction and field operations across power projects.

You will provide technical authority, safety leadership, and day-to-day guidance to field teams, contractors, and operations personnel. You will oversee electrical and mechanical interfaces, establish work practices, coordinate with engineering, and drive commissioning and startup activities for engine-driven generation systems.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; engineering degree preferred or related experience.
• 10–15+ years in electrical construction, installation, or commissioning.
• Experience leading electrical/mechanical contractors on active sites.
• Experience as electrical authority for field operations; escalation & troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of low/medium voltage cabling installation and NEC/NFPA standards.
• Ability to read and redline construction drawings; interface with engineering.
• Willingness to travel ~50% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction oversight of electrical and mechanical contractors, ensuring quality and IFC compliance.
• Serve as senior electrical leader for Atlas Field Operations, providing technical authority.
• Act as electrical escalation point for sites, handling outages and recurring issues.
• Establish electrical work practices, installation standards, and qualification expectations.
• Develop field procedures, job aids, and troubleshooting guides for field teams.
• Train and coach field technicians on electrical systems and safe practices.
• Coordinate staffing, tooling, and readiness for new site startups.
• Oversee installation of power cabling, conduits, trays, and grounding per drawings.
• Verify cable sizing and routing against design; raise discrepancies to engineering.
• Lead commissioning, testing, and startup activities for generation equipment.
• Drive root-cause analysis and field troubleshooting for electrical issues.
