Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions Inc. seeks a Staff Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction and commissioning for field projects.

You will oversee contractors, establish standards, and serve as the technical authority across Atlas Field Operations. You will drive safety, train field teams, and coordinate with operations leadership for site startups and equipment integration, including engine-driven generation systems.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in electrical construction, installation, or commissioning of industrial or power generation systems.
• Demonstrated leadership of electric construction teams and field operations.
• Equivalent directly related experience in electrical installation and commissioning will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction oversight of electrical and mechanical contractors, including planning, sequencing, quality control, and adherence to drawings.
• Serve as the senior electrical leader for Atlas Field Operations, providing technical authority and day-to-day guidance to field teams.
• Act as the electrical escalation point for operating sites, including outage support, repair planning, and recurring issue resolution after turnover.
• Establish and reinforce electrical work practices, installation standards, and qualification expectations for field personnel and contractors.
• Develop field procedures, job aids, and troubleshooting guides to raise field capability.
• Train and coach field technicians on electrical systems, power generation equipment, and safe work practices.
• Coordinate staffing, tooling, and readiness for new site startups with Field Operations leadership.
• Oversee installation of LV/MV power cabling, terminations, tray systems, conduit, grounding per NFPA 70 (NEC).
• Lead site commissioning, functional testing, and startup activities for generation and power distribution equipment.
• Enforce energized work controls, lockout/tagout, arc flash boundaries, and NFPA 70E on site.
