Job summary

Siemens is seeking Senior Field Service Engineers or Senior Electrical Services Specialists to support our Tempe, AZ or San Antonio, TX locations. The role covers I&C on power distribution equipment at Hyper-Scale Data Center sites, including installation, testing, and commissioning of MV/LV systems.

Your responsibilities include developing test scripts, setting networks, performing startup and validation, and training customer personnel.

Qualifications

5+ years troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits.
Experience with installation/maintenance of Power Automation Switchboards.
Experience with testing of power systems and protective relays.
Ability to read electrical blueprints and BOMs.
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NETA codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Create test scripts and MOPs for Data Center activities.
Set up communication devices and topology networks; upload HMI/PLC programs.
Install I/O and CPUs; test and start up equipment.
Provide on-site assistance with programming, commissioning, and customer training.
Lead site audits and provide technical guidance during projects.
Respond to emergencies and relief assignments.
