Siemens is seeking an Electrical Service Specialist for our Tempe, AZ area. The role involves startup, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium and low voltage power systems including transformers, switchgear, and protective relays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits; thermography certification is obtainable.
• 5+ years of electrical testing including primary current injection, resistance, dielectric, and thermal scans.
• Experience with AC/DC high-potential testing and transformer-related tests.
• Ability to interpret protective coordination studies and configure protective relays.
• Must be 18+, possess a valid driver's license and be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and checkout of electrical components for systems and service agreements.
• Install wiring, connect to power sources, and perform emergency troubleshooting of power distribution.
• Provide on-site design, development, installation and maintenance support for complex equipment.
• Advise and train customer personnel; prepare reports and maintain tools and equipment.
