Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits.
• Experience with electrical testing including dielectric and thermal scans.
• Experience with AC/DC high potential testing and transformer tests.
• Ability to interpret protective coordination studies and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead basic to semi-complex installation and checkout of electrical components for service jobs and agreements.
• Install wiring and connect to power source; perform emergency troubleshooting.
• Perform on-site design, installation, and maintenance of complex equipment/systems.
• Train customers and support staff; provide guidance and reports on activity.
• Plan labor/material costs and review installation schematics during proposals.
• Respond to emergency and relief assignments.
