Job summary

Siemens Mobility seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer - Electrical Services to support Tempe, AZ or San Antonio, TX branches, serving the greater Phoenix and San Antonio areas.

You will install, commission and maintain power distribution equipment at data centers, including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, metering, and power monitoring, with on-site responsibility and customer training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years troubleshooting electrical control circuits and obtaining thermography certification.
• Experience with installation/maintenance of Power Automation Switchboards.
• Experience with AC/DC high-pot testing and transformer testing.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and bills of material.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Create test scripts and MOPs for Data Centers CX activities.
• Set up communication devices and topology networks; upload HMI/PLC programs; install I/O and CPUs.
• Integrate 3rd party EPMS; perform testing, operation, troubleshooting and modification.
• Test MV/LV equipment and perform fault analysis and repairs.
• Provide on-site programming, start-up, commissioning, validation, and customer training.
• Lead site activities and complete closeout documentation; act as technical resource.
