Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator. This role can be fully remote or based in a local office. You will support preconstruction with estimates, bid reviews, and cost analyses, while mentoring junior estimators and collaborating with project teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of electrical estimating experience, strong knowledge of electrical codes, and proficiency with Accubid or similar software. Travel may be occasional.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in construction management or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of electrical construction experience in estimating, common code requirements, and design/build estimating.
• Experience using Accubid or similar estimating software. Experience with field installation or similar work.
• Skills to read, interpret and understand electrical contracts, plans, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Must have extensive knowledge of electrical codes and strong analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client-facing skills.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities for junior estimators.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate estimates, bids, and supporting documents with accuracy and timeliness.
• Secure and review subcontractor quotes and conduct take-offs to optimize labor costs.
• Lead estimate review meetings and assist in proposal writing for RFPs.
• Collaborate with project management, design, and purchasing to control costs and risks.
• Mentor and coach other estimators on large projects and maintain client relationships.
