Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and project delivery. You will help prepare estimates, reviews, cost analyses, and bid documentation, collaborating with project teams to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.

The role offers flexibility to base out of Clinton, MD or work fully remote within the U.S., with opportunities to mentor junior estimators and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of electrical construction experience in estimating, code requirements, and design/build estimating.
• Experience using Accubid or similar estimating software; field installation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical contracts, plans, drawings, and specifications; strong knowledge of electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate activities for each project to ensure accurate estimates and timely bids.
• Lead bid creation, prepare reports, and review subcontractor quotes.
• Work with project managers and design/purchasing teams to optimize cost and constructibility.
• Mentor junior estimators and provide guidance on large projects.
