Job summary

Eagle Electrical Services, an EMCOR Company, is hiring an experienced estimator in Plain City, Ohio. The Estimator will assess electrical contract work, interpret drawings, and forecast project costs while representing the company with owners, construction and project managers.

Responsibilities include take-offs, supplier quotes, pre-bid participation, and timely turnover of estimating documentation. Strong math, detail, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and detail orientation.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years' experience estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and math skills.
• Accubid experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review and interpret contracts, plans and specifications to develop estimates.
• Complete take-offs within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately define project requirements.
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and confirm full scope of work.
• Assist in determining project resource requirements and align with company goals.
• Provide liaison support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and complete.
• Provide timely turnover documentation from Estimating to Project Management.
