Job summary

Eagle Electrical Services in Plain City, Ohio is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to deliver detailed construction estimates for electrical contracting projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will interpret plans, prepare takeoffs, obtain quotes, and coordinate with Owners, Project Managers, and field teams to support winning bids and accurate cost forecasting. This is a full-time, exempt role based in Plain City.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and detail orientation skills are required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years’ experience estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and math skills required.
• Accubid experience is a plus.

• Analyze, review and interpret engineering contracts, plans and specifications to develop detailed, comprehensive construction estimates for both small and large projects.
• Complete estimate take-off, within time deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately define project requirements.
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and ensure complete scope of work required.
• Provide liaison support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all estimates submitted are accurate and complete.
• Provide timely project turnover documentation from Estimating to Project Management.

Summary

Eagle is currently hiring an experienced electrical Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for estimating contract work, interpreting construction documents, and predicting project costs. The individual will be responsible for representing the company in many aspects. This position works closely with Owners, Construction and Project Managers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyze, review and interpret engineering contracts, plans and specifications to develop detailed, comprehensive construction estimates for both small and large projects.


• Complete estimate take-off, within time deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Accurately define project requirements.


• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.


• Attend pre-bid meetings and ensure complete scope of work required.


• Assist in determining project resource requirements in alignment with company goals and objectives.


• Provide liaison support to all internal and external stake holders.


• Ensure all estimates submitted are as accurate and complete as possible.


• Provide timely project turnover documentation from Estimating to Project Management.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
