GNS Electric is seeking a Senior Estimator to manage project estimates and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and the operations team. You will lead the estimating group, prepare detailed cost analyses, and ensure accurate bid packages across all design stages.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, reviewing plans for constructability, and delivering competitive bids while aligning with company standards and client requirements. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Field experience: 5 years commercial construction with 4 years estimating.
• Proficiency in BlueBeam, MS Excel, and Accubid.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates with the proper level of detail for all design stages: Conceptual, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Project Documents.
• Consult with clients, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effect cost reductions, and resolve issues.
• Research project documents and analyze specifications to determine estimated costs.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and estimates costs of materials, labor, and equipment required to fulfill all provisions of the contract.
• Presents and explains project budgets to clients and operations teams.
• Administers hand-off to the Operations Team and coordinates with the Ops Team as needed.
