Job summary

Morrow-Meadows Corporation is seeking a Senior Estimator for its Electrical Division in City of Industry, CA. This full-time role requires leading estimates for complex electrical projects, coordinating with clients and vendors, and mentoring junior estimators.

You will analyze drawings, prepare detailed bids, review contracts, and support preconstruction with cost estimates. A strong background in commercial electrical construction and proficiency with ACCUBID/Bluebeam is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years experience in the electrical construction industry.
• Previous estimating experience required including projects up to $15 million in electrical value.
• Strong electrical knowledge in commercial construction including low voltage systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Estimating Systems (ACCUBID Preferred), and Bluebeam.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze electrical, mechanical, architectural drawings and other documents to prepare detailed estimates utilizing current estimating software.
• Manage large and/or multiple project estimates independently.
• Strategize with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to formulate estimates.
• Lead a team of junior estimators on a project pursuit.
• Build strong relationships with customers, attend and coordinate social functions as required.
• Prepare detailed proposals and bid forms as required by our customers.
• Review estimates and proposal letter with Chief Estimator before submission.
• Support preconstruction team with cost estimates in design pursuits.
