U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC in Wixom, MI seeks a Senior Electrical Estimator to perform take-offs and prepare estimates for industrial/commercial electrical projects. The role requires handling RFQ/RFP responses, designing/building estimates, and coordinating with project teams and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in electrical estimating, familiarity with NECA/IBEW standards, and proficiency in Accubid and MS Office. Travel and safety training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10 years commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• 5 years in estimating/design/project management.
• Automotive industry experience a plus.
• Familiar with NECA and the IBEW.
• Experience with Accubid estimating software preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Project.
• State drivers license.
• OSHA 30 will train.
• Licenses/certs are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review RFQ/RFPs to understand scope, requirements, and timelines.
• Create schedules to accomplish the scope of work (SOW).
• Attend pre-bid meetings and perform site visits.
• Estimate all electrical disciplines including power, lighting, and low voltage.
• Perform risk analysis of projects as required.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Update union labor rates as required.
• Provide written Scopes of Work and project details for handoff.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations for quotes input.
• Ensure bid packs are submitted on time.
• Review customer specs to ensure compliance.
• Identify pre-fabrication opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Coach and mentor other estimators.
• Travel as needed.
