Job summary

Qualifications

• More than two years of electrical estimating experience.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Experience using Accubid or comparable electrical estimating software.
• Working knowledge of electrical installations, construction practices, and applicable codes and standards.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and understand electrical plans, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents.
• Prepare estimates at various stages of design, including conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Visit job sites and attend pre-bid meetings to clarify project scope, identify requirements, and develop accurate estimates.
• Prepare and submit customer proposals, scope letters, and bid documentation.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from initial estimating through project completion.
• Apply working knowledge of electrical installation codes, standards, materials, and construction practices.
• Support bidding activities and business development initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
