Job summary

RESA Power in Wixom, MI is seeking an Estimator to support sales with project quotes and pricing. You will prepare a bill of materials and cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements, communicating with departments, vendors, and customers to ensure estimates and paperwork are completed on time.

Requirements include an Associate's degree or equivalent plus 5+ years of related experience; strong ability to read blueprints and schematics; experience with AutoCAD and MS Office; and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in a related role.
• Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and parts lists for troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Strong communication skills with customers and peers.
• Good time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Computes costs by analyzing the labor, material, and time requirements.
• Create bill of materials (BOM) and order materials; approve material invoices.
• Visit customer sites for job walks when necessary.
• Coordinate with sales staff, project managers, and the General Manager.
• Maintain technical knowledge through workshops and industry publications.
