Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team, focusing on large-scale electrical estimates for distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and data centers. The role requires deep knowledge of electrical trade scope, bid depository rules, and proficient use of electrical drawings.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of heavy industrial estimation experience, proficiency in Accubid, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical estimation in heavy industrial construction.
- Experience estimating projects around $50M+ value.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate drawings and specs to estimate materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Ensure bids comply with depository regulations.
- Use Accubid to develop and maintain project cost controls.
- Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and contractors for detailed estimates.
- Present estimates in bid/proposal meetings and respond to client questions.
