Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for large-scale electrical projects including distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and data centers. The role requires deep knowledge of electrical scopes, bid regulations, and experience with Accubid to drive cost controls.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of heavy industrial estimation experience, with project histories around $50M.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of electrical estimation experience in heavy industrial construction (distribution centers, manufacturing, data centers).
• Experience estimating projects around $50M.
• Proficiency with Accubid and estimation tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical trade scope and bid depository regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate electrical drawings and specs to estimate materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Ensure bids comply with bid depository regulations.
• Use Accubid to develop and maintain project cost controls.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather estimate data.
• Present estimates in bid/proposal meetings and support clients/stakeholders.
