Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Estimator to support large-scale EPC and data center projects nationwide from our Houston base.

You will develop accurate estimates for electrical and instrumentation scopes, review bid documents, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the bidding process. Applicants should bring strong technical construction experience, the ability to interpret complex drawings and specs, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Electrical construction estimating experience in industrial, commercial, EPC, or mission-critical projects.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and construction labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and subcontractor bid evaluations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam, McCormick, Accubid, or similar estimating software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management preferred, not required.
• Data center construction experience is a plus, not required.
• Ability to work independently and travel nationwide as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates for complex construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the bidding process.
• Analyze labor productivity, material pricing, and project-specific cost considerations.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkdowns.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and support improvements in estimating accuracy.
