Job summary

Jobot seeks a Senior Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate electrical estimates for distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, data centers, and more. The role requires a solid understanding of electrical trade scope and bid depository regulations.

You will write and interpret electrical drawings, collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors, and use Accubid to develop cost controls. Relocation assistance is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in electrical estimation for heavy industrial projects.
• Experience estimating ~$50M projects.
• Proficient with Accubid and estimation software.
• Strong knowledge of bid depository regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate drawings and specs to estimate materials, labor, and subcontractors.
• Ensure bids meet depository regulations.
• Use Accubid to develop cost controls.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and contractors for detail.
• Review cost discrepancies for management.
• Present estimates in bid/proposal meetings.
• Maintain current industry standards and practices.
• Contribute to team tasks as needed.
