gpac LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead detailed estimates and competitive bids for commercial and industrial electrical construction. The role involves reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, soliciting supplier pricing, and coordinating with project teams to ensure constructible, profitable bids.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of electrical estimating experience, strong knowledge of codes, and the ability to communicate with owners, contractors, and vendors throughout the bid

Competenze

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial and industrial construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, materials, labor, and installation practices.
• Ability to independently estimate projects from plans and specs through final proposal.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specs, one-lines, and construction documents.

• Prepare detailed estimates and competitive bids for commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, scopes of work, and other project documents to develop accurate estimates.
• Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs and determine labor requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Analyze project requirements and identify scope gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop complete bid proposals, including labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and other costs.
• Work with Project Managers, Operations, and field personnel to ensure estimates are accurate and constructible.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs as needed.
• Communicate with General Contractors, owners, vendors, and subcontractors through the bidding process.
• Assist with value engineering and cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality or project requirements.
• Maintain organized estimating documentation and bid files.
• Track market conditions, material pricing, labor costs, and subcontractor availability.
• Assist with project turnover from estimating to operations for a smooth transition.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Support business development by identifying project opportunities and maintaining market relationships.
