Job summary

GPAC seeks an experienced Electrical PM/Estimator in California to join a well-established local electrical contractor. The role spans estimating and project management for commercial and industrial projects—from winning work through completion—and offers ongoing involvement throughout the process.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical construction, strong knowledge of estimating software (Accubid, ConEst, McCormick), and a proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and change orders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical construction estimating and project management
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick or similar

Responsibilities

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents
• Complete material and labor takeoffs
• Develop project estimates and competitive bids
• Manage awarded projects from contract through completion
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and profitability
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen in the field
• Assist with project turnover and ensure successful project execution
