Job summary

GPAC LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator in Las Vegas to lead estimates for local commercial and industrial electrical projects. You will review plans and bid documents, perform detailed takeoffs, and develop competitive project estimates.

You will work closely with Project Management, Operations, and leadership to manage multiple bids, identify risks, and develop effective bid strategies, with no constant travel and a long-term opportunity within an established local contractor.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Strong local commercial/industrial electrical background
• Ability to independently estimate projects from plans and specifications
• Experience with Accubid, ConEst, McCormick or similar software

Responsibilities

• Lead estimates for local commercial and industrial electrical projects
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents
• Complete detailed material and labor takeoffs
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Develop accurate and competitive project estimates
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and opportunities
• Develop bid strategies and final proposals
• Work closely with Project Management, Operations, and company leadership
• Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines
• Assist with project turnover after successful bids
