Jobot is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team on-site in Princeton, MN. The role focuses on developing detailed cost estimates for high voltage transmission line projects, interpreting electrical drawings and coordinating with project managers and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of electrical estimating experience in construction, and strong Excel/Project skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in electrical estimating for construction.
• Experience with EHV transmission lines and transmission construction.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and blueprints to determine cost, materials and labor.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for EHV transmission line projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to gather project information.
• Analyze suppliers and contractors to obtain best cost-effective deals.
• Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, track and manage project costs.
