Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and proposal development for medium and high-voltage power delivery projects. You will develop accurate cost estimates for substation construction, expansion, and modernization, working closely with engineering, project management, and procurement to ensure competitive, technically sound bids.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in estimating or project experience in utilities or heavy electrical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of estimating or project experience within power delivery, utilities, or heavy electrical construction.
• Experience estimating substation projects.
• Strong understanding of substation components such as transformers, breakers, bus systems, protection & control, grounding, and structural systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, one-lines, and construction specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
