Job summary

JobGether partners with us to recruit a Senior Electrical Estimator in the United States. This role focuses on leading electrical estimating for large-scale data center and infrastructure projects, turning drawings and specs into accurate cost proposals.

You will collaborate with engineers, operations, and vendors to ensure cost efficiency and reliability. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of electrical estimating experience, strong data center project exposure, and proficiency with Accubid,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience as an Electrical Estimator in construction.
• Direct and demonstrable experience estimating data center projects.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze construction drawings and specs.
• Hands-on proficiency with electrical estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, or McCormick.

Responsibilities

• Review ITB packages, drawings, specs, RFPs, and scope of work to identify electrical requirements and estimating needs.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs using digital tools to establish material and labor requirements.
• Develop comprehensive electrical cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor quotes for completeness, accuracy, and competitiveness.
• Prepare Basis of Estimate documentation outlining assumptions, inclusions, and exclusions.
• Support value engineering with operations and pre-construction teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Develop professional bid proposals using estimating platforms to present detailed cost estimates.
