Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC seeks a Cost Estimator to develop comprehensive cost estimates for electrical building projects, including expansions and upgrades. You will analyze drawings and collaborate with engineering, procurement and project management to refine projections and ensure accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, with 3–5 years in data center or large-scale infra estimation and proficiency in estimating software and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of cost estimation experience in data center or large-scale infra projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and power distribution equipment.
• Experience with estimating software and CRM tools.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for electrical building projects, including expansion and upgrades.
• Analyze project requirements, drawings, and specs to determine scope, materials and labor needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and PM teams to refine cost projections.
• Source and evaluate pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare and present cost estimates to stakeholders including senior management and clients.
• Maintain up-to-date database of costs, trends, and market conditions.
