Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support data center and related, large-scale electrical projects. You will analyze ITB documents, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts.

You’ll use Accubid, ConEst, and Bluebeam Revu to build professional proposals and collaborate with operations and pre-construction teams on value-engineering ideas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
• Proven experience estimating large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects, with direct data center project experience.
• Proficiency with electrical estimating software and digital take-off tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ITB documents to determine electrical requirements for data center and related projects.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs using digital take-off software.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors and direct costs.
• Solicit, analyze, and level vendor and subcontractor quotes for completeness and competitiveness.
• Develop detailed basis of estimate documentation outlining assumptions, inclusions, exclusions and clarifications.
• Collaborate with operations and pre-construction teams on value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings with clients, engineers and contractors.
• Utilize estimating software to build and format professional proposals.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, material pricing and labor rates.
• Manage multiple estimates with strict deadlines.
