Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Estimator for industrial EPC and data center construction based in Houston, TX.

This fully onsite role supports large-scale projects nationwide, collaborating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver accurate estimates. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical construction background, can interpret complex drawings, and is proficient in Excel with familiarity in Bluebeam, McCormick or Accubid.

Qualifications

• Electrical construction estimating experience within industrial, commercial, EPC, or mission-critical projects.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and subcontractor bid evaluations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam, McCormick, Accubid, or similar estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates for complex construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the bidding process.
• Analyze labor productivity, material pricing, and project-specific cost considerations.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkdowns.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and support improvements in estimating accuracy.
